Rand Festival Camping

We are very excited to welcome you to the Rand Festival campsite!

To make sure your weekend is as smooth and joyful as possible, we’ve put together this helpful guide. Take a quick moment to read through these details so you can focus on what really matters: making memories with your festival family.

Staying with us allows you to soak up the full festival experience while being just a short walk from the main entrance. This year, we have a new Camper’s entrance so you get direct access to the Festival Field and you also get early access to Rand Farm Park on Saturday and Sunday.

Campsite Opening: The gates open at 9:00 am on Friday. We encourage you to arrive early, find your perfect spot, and soak in the pre-festival excitement while you set up your home-away-from-home!

On Arrival: Our friendly stewards will be waiting with smiles! Please have your tickets ready on your phone or printed out. We’ll get you scanned in and fitted with your camping festival wristband. This will need to be worn all weekend to gain access to the Festival site and the camping areas.

Showtime: The Festival officially opens at 11:00 am on Friday. Just enough time to grab a drink and get your bearings!

Your Dedicated Space: To keep things organised and safe during your stay, we have separate areas for guests with traditional tent camping, and those with motorhome/caravans. Our team will point you in the right direction as soon as you arrive.

Choose Your Pitch: Tent pitches are not allocated so you have the freedom to pick your favourite spot, unless you are directed otherwise by a member of staff. We just ask that you’re considerate by leaving a little breathing room between yourself and others so everyone has a comfortable and respectable stay.

If you are arriving in a motorhome, campervan or caravan, you are welcome to park your vehicle alongside your pitch and may use a small awning as part of your setup. Unlike tent campers, you are permitted to keep your vehicle with your accommodation and are not subject to the vehicle restrictions that apply within the main camping field. However, all other campsite rules remain in force, including bag checks on arrival, the prohibition of open flames or fires, and compliance with all festival camping regulations.

To keep our camping fields a peaceful and safe space for everyone, no vehicles are permitted within the tent camping area at any time. This includes unloading, loading, dropping off equipment, or collecting equipment.

• All vehicles must remain in the designated vehicle parking area.
• Motorhomes and caravans will be directed to their own dedicated area.
• Emergency access routes must be kept clear at all times.

The Campsite and Festival site are different areas.

Re-Entry: Campers are free to return to their tents throughout the weekend as re-entry is permitted with your wristband.

Liquids/Alcohol: Glass containers, alcohol, and other drinks may be kept within your tent, caravan, or motorhome pitch. However, under our licence, these cannot be taken into the Festival area.

Bag Checks: For everyone’s safety, bag checks are in operation upon entry to the Festival site.
