SEN Easter Morning

Rand Farm Park’s S.E.N Easter Morning offers a unique opportunity for children with special educational needs (SEN) to enjoy a magical and inclusive Easter experience in Lincoln.

Taking place on Sunday, 29th March, from 9:00am, this unique session gives families exclusive early access to explore the farm’s burrows at their own pace, creating a low sensory and relaxed Easter experience tailored to the needs of each child. Unlike the full Easter Extravaganza or Easter Adventure Day, there are no immersive shows during this session, allowing children to enjoy the farm and meet the full Easter cast in a calm and relaxed environment.

What is the SEN Morning?

The morning is designed to be gentle and accessible, perfect for children or guests who may find larger or louder events overwhelming. Guests can meet beloved Easter characters, including EB (the Easter Bunny) and Ebony, the Easter Bunny’s assistant, without the pressure of structured performances. Families are encouraged to explore the burrows and take their time enjoying the seasonal magic, creating a tailored experience that works for each child’s comfort level.

This event has been successfully running for several years, receiving consistently positive feedback from families who have returned year after year. Rand Farm Park has worked closely with SEN groups and event partners to ensure the morning is inclusive, accessible, and welcoming. The event’s design prioritises children’s comfort, providing a gentle, low sensory environment where they can enjoy Easter festivities without feeling overwhelmed.

Family-fun Farm Activities

In addition to the Easter-themed activities, the S.E.N Easter Morning allows families to enjoy Rand Farm Park’s wider attractions in their ticket price too. Indoor play areas provide soft play and plenty of space for children to move freely, while outdoor adventure play areas open at 10:00am, giving families the chance to explore open spaces, enjoy tractor rides (weather permitting), or meet farm animals in scheduled feeding and milking demonstrations. Please note that seasonal attractions, including Archery, Skyride, and the Land Rover Adventure, are not available during this session to maintain a calm and inclusive environment and to maximise your opportunity to meet the Easter cast and enjoy the theatrical sets in your own way, without the louder, immersive shows.

An inclusive, accessible experience

Rand Farm Park’s spacious layout and accessible areas ensure that families can enjoy a safe and welcoming Easter outing. The combination of seasonal fun, farm experiences, and a low sensory environment makes this morning ideal for children with additional needs. By focusing on smaller groups, early access, and the flexibility to explore at a personalised pace, the S.E.N Easter Morning provides a meaningful and memorable experience that prioritises children’s comfort and enjoyment.

For families in Lincoln and surrounding areas seeking a special educational needs-friendly Easter activity, this event offers a perfect balance of seasonal entertainment, gentle engagement with Easter characters, and the chance to experience the farm’s attractions in a way that suits your family best. It’s an inclusive, magical way to introduce children to Easter celebrations, ensuring everyone can enjoy the excitement of the season without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
