Rand Farm Park is seeking talented and enthusiastic performers to join the magical festivities this season.
Embody the spirit of Christmas through a variety of roles; operational, facilitating, meet and greets, scripted theatrical performances or improvisational street-theatre
pieces and more.
‘The Real Christmas Experience’ is an immersive and interactive theatrical production where Farmer Folk are invited into the Elven town of Merryjingle and the world of Santa Claus himself. At Rand Farm Park, we believe in delivering a very ‘real’ and unique experience for every group that visits as they travel through the town and meet the elves, Santa and Mrs Claus along the way!
We are looking for engaging, passionate individuals, committed to creating magical experiences for all. Performing experience, particularly in an immersive production or family-friendly environment, is preferred but not required as full training will be provided.
In most cases, the audition process will include a self-tape followed by a zoom call or in-person meeting. Some roles will require applicants to attend an open audition/workshop.
We are auditioning for a variety of roles with varying requirements.
Working environment and requirements for some roles and departments:
• Indoor and outdoor locations, with prolonged standing.
• Guest-facing position, requiring consistently high levels of interaction.
• Use of technical equipment, including touchscreen tablets.
• Some tasks may require moderate lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and other similar physical activity.
• Confidence to control the flow rate of guests through proactive queue line management.
• Ability to engage and adapt communication style to suit a variety of colleagues and visitors.

Principal Performers create magical memories for our Farmer Folk through a range of musical theatre, immersive scripted theatre, street theatre, improvisation and meet and greets, while maintaining character and staying true to narrative.
Efficient and effective delivery of the experience is of the utmost importance to the roles, ensuring that show times do not overrun and that character schedules are consistent in delivery.
£17.00 per hour.
Merryjingle Elves are highly interactive, guest-facing characters who facilitate a number of magical experiences included within the experience, taking on a variety of operational and supporting performance roles throughout.
£12.40 per hour.
As the father of Christmas, Santa Claus is soulful, warm, humorous, refined and gentle, greeting families into the Grotto ready to listen to the farmer folk visitor’s Christmas wishes.
£19.45 per hour.

As the mother of Christmas, Mrs Claus is soulful, warm, kind and always has fresh gingerbread in the oven when she welcomes families into her Gingerbread Kitchen.
