Weekend/School Holiday: Food Host

Basic Job Description

We are looking to appoint a group of confident, independent team members to work within our onsite busy seasonal catering outlets on weekends, in school holidays and some additional evenings too.

Typical work activities

• Preparation of stock at the start of each shift
• Keeping administrative & food hygiene records as and when required
• Preparing and serving a variety of drinks, ice creams and snacks
• Assist in keeping the catering outlet clean, hygienic and tidy, at all times
• Using general customer service skills
• Processing transactions within our catering outlets
• Restocking of the catering outlets
• General housekeeping tasks

Personal Skills

Flexible with an outgoing cheerful disposition and the ability to “muck in” as part of a small team is essential.  A friendly, confident and happy person, willing to help other team members as well as visitors and able to work in an unsupervised environment for the majority of the time.
Experience is not essential but desirable

Hours of Work

Weekend and school holiday’s availability
The normal hours of work are 9.30am – 5.30pm with flexibility to ensure the satisfactory completion of the job.

Rates of Pay

Varies depending on age, paid monthly in arrears
