Embark on a truly magical adventure at The Real Christmas Experience!
Start your adventure with Chip and Sparky at Sugarplum HQ, sing festive tunes with Jingle in Merryjingle’s Music School, and explore the 3D Enchanted Forest with Oakley. Meet Santa’s real reindeer and make reindeer feed with Huff in Graindeers Stables!
Help Postie sort presents at the Sorting Office, then visit Santa in his cozy grotto to pick a special gift from his secret Toy Shop.
Can you smell gingerbread? Head over to the Gingerbread Kitchen to decorate biscuits with Mrs. Claus! And don’t miss the fun with Ginger & Pepper in Elf Academy throughout the day!
For an extra touch of festive magic, add toasting marshmallows over an open fire to your experience for an additional cost, and dive into the fun of our “Make a Bear” workshop, where you can create your very own cuddly companion!
Plus, enjoy all the winter favourite Rand Farm Park activities such as indoor play, meeting the animals on the farm and animal-based experiences such as bottle feeding and small animal handling.

This experience includes all cast members and activities, but does not feature immersive shows. Please note, Elf Academy operates at scheduled times.
Term Time Christmas Experience
Monday – Friday from 2nd December until 19th December
The town of Merryjingle is peaceful, with most of the elves out at Mrs Claus’ Christmas Day concert practice…
But there’s still a sprinkle of magic waiting to be discovered by your little Farmer Folk! Immerse your family in the enchantment of Christmas with an elf-guided tour through Merryjingle, where you’ll meet Santa Claus in his Grotto.
Along the way, create special reindeer food at Graindeer’s Stables, perfect for leaving out on Christmas Eve. Say hello to our two real reindeer, Rudi and Rossi. Journey through the 3D Enchanted Forest. Choose a present from Santa’s secret Toy Shop. Decorate your very own gingerbread treat in Mrs Claus’ Kitchen. See what Ginger and Pepper are up to in Elf Academy too!

“The Christmas experience was very magical and I would definitely recommend it. We arrived 2 hours before our experience started, so my daughter could pet her favourite “giant” rabbit, guinea pigs, bottle feed the calves and go on the tractor ride. There is so much to do at the farm. The Christmas Experience itself was super fun with some cheeky elves, snow machine, marshmallow toasting while watching the reindeer. “What a magical day visiting Rand Farm Park!! We visited Sunday for The Real Christmas Experience and it by far exceeded our expectations. The farm itself was well run, clean, easy to get around and being able to interact with the animals. The girls loved feeding the calves and feeding the other animals. The elf show was so much fun and the girls loved getting involved. From the moment we started the Christmas Experience the girls were amazed! Our 6 year old was eager to join in and experience everything, our 3 year old a little unsure but took everything in... up until we met Santa... their faces lit up and it was just magical! Does my ticket include access to Rand Farm Park?
Absolutely! You can enjoy all the winter favourite Rand Farm Park activities such as indoor play, meeting the animals on the farm and animal experiences such as bottle feeding and small animal handling.
What is included in the Mid-Week Toddler Experience?
During the week. whilst the bigger kids are at school, you will still be welcomed by one of Santa’s Elves, meet real reindeer, meet another one of Santa’s elves along your journey, enjoy a private audience with Santa, pick a toy from the secret toy shop, decorate a biscuit with Mrs Claus and learn how to be a real Elf in Elf Academy.
The full Christmas Experience lasts around 2 hours whereas the Toddler Experience lasts about an hour
What is the SEN Session?
Our SEN session is designed for visitors with additional needs. Unlike regular sessions, the shows will not be running, but characters will be present. Visitors can explore the experience at their own pace, interacting with the characters without the structure of timed performances.
Our Christmas SEN Evening is on Saturday 23rd November starting from 4:00pm
What time can we arrive at Rand Farm Park?
The time you book for is your time to START your Christmas Experience. You are welcome to arrive anytime from 8:45am to enjoy the farm and play but please make sure you are ready at least 15 minutes before your booked time to start your experience.
Does my child need to participate in The Real Christmas Experience?
At least one paying child is required for entry. For families with a baby (e.g., Mum, Dad, 4-year-old, and baby), it’s up to the parents whether they’d like the baby to participate and receive a present and treat.
However, if a baby is the only child in the group, they must be paid for, as we cannot allow two adults and a non-paying child to go through the experience.
What days is The Real Christmas Experience on?
We’re open for The Real Christmas Experience every day from the 23rd November – Christmas Eve

When booking online you can buy, for the same time slot, extended families meaning you’re welcome to have up to 10 people in the grotto at one time.

Do you offer a concession rate at Christmas?
For the big events at Rand Farm Park, such as Christmas and Rand Festival, we do not offer a concession rate on our ticket
What if I’m running late for my booking and it’s looking like I’m going to miss my booked timeslot?
If you are running late to your booking we will, subject to availability, try and fit you into another slot towards the end of the day. This is not a guarantee though so please make sure you arrive plenty of time before the time you have booked to start The Real Christmas Experience.
How long does the experience last?
The Real Christmas Experience, from start-to-finish, lasts roughly 2 hours.
The Term-Time Christmas Experience, from start-to-finish, lasts an hour.
Does Mrs Claus have a free from alternative in her kitchen?
Absolutely, when booking online there will be a box to tick to ask for a free from biscuit
Are there bright lights and sudden sounds?
The Real Christmas Experience is an immersive, magical experience. Throughout the experience there will be some sprinkles of Christmas magic, which contain unusual lighting, sounds, smells and special effects.
Is food included in the experience and are allergies considered?
Whilst visiting Mrs Claus’ kitchen, participating children can decorate a gingerbread biscuit. We do have ‘Free From’ substitutes available and, when booking online, you can select this option.
Is there a maximum number of people i can have on my booking?
You can only purchase up to 10 people per booking.
Can I book my child’s birthday party in December and see Santa at the same time?

If I book a large group, can we split up and take turns seeing Santa?
The people you have booked for under one booking, must enter the grotto together.
Can I take a pushchair in with me?
We will be asking everyone, where possible, to leave pushchairs etc in the designated Buggy Park before starting The Real Christmas Experience.
Where can I find Breakfast with Santa?
We’re really sorry to tell you that Breakfast with Santa will not be part of The Real Christmas Experience 2024.
What if we need to leave the experience half-way through as my child is hungry or needs the toilet?
We do ask you not to leave half-way through the experience. If it is urgent, please speak to an elf or member of the team.
How can I add an extra adult or child to my booking?
To book an additional adult or child to an existing booking, please give us a call on 01673 858904 with your booking confirmation available to hand
How can i amend my child’s details or time and date of my visit?
If you wish to be able to change your booking for The Real Christmas Experience, please make sure you create an account with us when purchasing your tickets. This will allow you to amend your booking subject to availability.
How can I check what time I’ve booked to see Santa?
When booking your tickets online, please make sure you select to create an account with us. By doing so, you can view and edit your booking up to 24 hours before your visit.
What is toasting marshmallows?
At the end of your experience, you can toast some marshmallows with one of Santa’s elves by an open fire.
