Office Administrator
Job overview:
Due to continued growth, we are now looking to recruit an experienced and diligent Office Administrator to support with day to day administration of the human resources function, financial reporting and general reception duties.
Financial Administration:
- Cash up tills and keep a record of daily takings
- Support invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and liaise with suppliers and customers to ensure records are accurate and payments are made/received in a timely manner.
- End of month cash box and petty cash reconciliation and payment run
Office Administration:
- Maintain office supplies, equipment, and facilities, ensuring everything is functional and well-stocked.
- Coordinate office/site maintenance, including liaising with external service providers.
- Responding to emails and social media messages.
- Provide customer service support on the phone and on the admission desk when providing cover.
- Make purchases as required by various departments in a timely manner seeking best prices and manager sign off as required
HR Support:
- Coordinating the onboarding and offboarding processes, including induction plans, welcome communications, exit interviews and system deactivations.
- Complete documentation across the full employee lifecycle including contracts, offer letters, change of terms, leaver paperwork and processing
- Responding to day to day HR queries from employees and managers
The successful candidate should:
– Be able to apply discretion in confidential matters.
– Be trustworthy and loyal, polite, hardworking, and presentable.
– Have strong communication and organisational skills.
– Have strong numeracy skills
Experience/Qualifications:
– Self-motivated, enthusiastic, approachable and a trustworthy team player.
– HR Experience is desired, but not essential.
– Literacy with the full Microsoft Office Suite is essential including Intermediate Excel skills
– Experience with accounting software Xero and DEXT is beneficial.
– A good working knowledge of IT and comfortable using web based system software
Hours of work:
Full time – 40 Hours per week – Monday to Friday but available for job share between the right candidates.
