Admission/Retail Assistant

We are looking to appoint a person or persons to work within the busy entrance to Rand Farm Park on our admission area and within our gift shop.

There are two roles available: A permanent, part-time position and a temporary, seasonal role.

Typical work activities
To welcome our visitors as they enter the admission area using our till system and ticket scanning system
Providing our visitors with all of the timetabled information they will require to enjoy their visit
Using general customer service skills
Processing transactions within our gift shop
Restocking of the gift shop and admission area
General housekeeping tasks

 

Personal Skills
Flexible with an outgoing cheerful disposition and the ability to “muck in” as part of a small team is essential.  A friendly, confident and happy person, willing to help other team members as well as visitors and able to work in an unsupervised environment at various times.
Experience is not essential but desirable

Hours of Work
Permanent, Part-Time: 16 hours per week
The normal hours of work are 9.00am – 5pm (1 weekday and 1 weekend day) with flexibility to ensure the satisfactory completion of the job. Additional hours to provide holiday cover would also be required
Temporary, Seasonal: Weekend’s and School Holidays
The normal hours of work are 9.30am – 5.30pm with flexibility to ensure the satisfactory completion of the job.

Weekend & School Holiday: Food Host

Minimum age 16

Basic Job Description
We are looking to appoint a group of confident, independent team members to work within our onsite busy seasonal catering outlets on weekends, in school holidays and some additional evenings too.

Typical work activities
Preparation of stock at the start of each shift
Keeping administrative & food hygiene records as and when required
Preparing and serving a variety of drinks, ice creams and snacks
Assist in keeping the catering outlet clean, hygienic and tidy, at all times
Using general customer service skills
Processing transactions within our catering outlets
Restocking of the catering outlets
General housekeeping tasks
