Join Our Farm Team and Help Create Unforgettable Experiences

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on Farm Team Member to play a key role in the smooth running of our farm park. You’ll work at the heart of our visitor experience — delivering excellent animal care, engaging with guests, and helping us create memorable days out for families, schools and groups.

If you enjoy working outdoors, love animals, and are confident engaging with the public, this could be the perfect role for you.

What You’ll Do

Your day will be varied, active and rewarding. Typical responsibilities include:

Animal Care & Welfare

  • Feeding, bedding, handling and general daily care of livestock
  • Cleaning and maintaining animal areas to the highest standards of welfare
  • Assisting with lambing, calving and seasonal farm activities
  • Supporting veterinary visits and administering medication (after training)
  • Helping with washing down, mucking out and general farm upkeep
  • Always upholding excellent animal health and welfare standards

Guest Interaction & Demonstrations

  • Delivering lamb/calf feeding sessions using a PA system
  • Carrying out milking demonstrations and public talks
  • Engaging confidently with guests of all ages, answering questions and supporting group visits
  • Creating a welcoming, informative and safe visitor experience

Farm & Event Operations

  • Operating a JCB Telehandler (training provided)
  • Helping build sets, displays and stages for events throughout the year
  • Supporting activity sessions such as Skyrider and Archery alongside our activity team

  • Flexible, reliable and willing to “muck in” as part of a small, supportive team
  • Able to work independently or in a supervisory capacity when required
  • Comfortable working outdoors
  • Passionate about animals and happy to be hands-on

Ideally, you will have basic animal husbandry knowledge — and experience or qualifications in a similar setting would be a bonus.

If this sounds like you… why not join our Rand Farm Park family?
