| 23 Jul 2008 | NEW ARRIVALS AT RAND FARM PARK Two more of our charolais cows have calved Valerie had a bull calf called "Dynamite" on 17th July and Topaz had a heifer calf called "Daisy" on 18th July Both calves were named by the children of Whaplode Primary School who were on a residential visit and saw both calves born Come and see them soon |
| 15 Aug 2008 | 1,000,000 VISITORS Five-year-old James Lea got a pleasant surprise when he visited Rand Farm Park with his mum yesterday (Wednesday). James, who lives in Sturton-by-Stow, was the millionth person through the gates of the popular family attraction since it opened in 1996. To mark the milestone he was presented with a pedal-powered go-kart and his mum Rachel won a year’s season ticket to Rand Farm Park for the whole family. Rachel said James was really excited about his prize. “We love coming here and now we’ve got the season ticket we can visit as often as we like.” |
