Hygiene:

IMPORTANT! PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN WASH THEIR HANDS THOROUGHLY AFTER HANDLING THE ANIMALS BEFORE CONSUMING FOOD OR DRINK.

Cold water washing facilities are located on the farm and hot water facilities are located outside the tea room and in all the toilets.

Feeding the Animals:

When feeding the animals please ensure that you and your children feed with their HANDS FLAT. Animals cannot tell the difference between fingers and food.

Do NOT feed the big pigs.

Touching the Animals:

All our animals enjoy a cuddle. If you would like to hold an animal please ask a member of staff.

Do NOT enter any pen unless invited to do so by a member of staff.

Smoking:

Smoking is NOT permitted on the farm, in the tearoom or coffee bar or inside any of the buildings.

You may smoke in the outdoor adventure playground areas ONLY.

If you choose to do so, please put all butt ends and litter in the bins provided. Small children may pick this up and put it into their mouths and some of our animals will eat anything!

Play Areas:

The outdoor adventure playground and ALL play areas are unsupervised and your children MUST BE supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Do not allow your children to wander off by themselves.

Use of Trampoline:

• Please remove shoes before use.
• Please remove any sharp objects (broaches etc) to avoide scratches and cuts.
• Max of 6 children at any one time with a total weight not to exceed 22 stones.
• Only bounce in the centre of the trampoline.
• Do not attempt any somersaults, etc. unless under the supervision of a properly qualified adult.

Indoor Play Pods:

• Children only. (Sorry grown ups...)
• Shoes MUST be removed.
• Children MUST come down the slide feet first NOT head first.
• NO Food or Drink inside the Pods.

Parents/Carers may enter the pods (after removing their shoes) if their child needs assistance.

Accidents or Injury:

In the event of an accident or injury First Aid may be obtained from the admissions desk.

Risk and Liability:

You are welcome to use the Adventure Playground and Indoor Play Areas (children only) at your own risk.

We cannot accept any liability for any loss, damage or injury to persons or property howsoever caused.

Your children and your belongs remain YOUR responsibility whilst visiting Rand Farm Park.
